Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things

Adopt A City is a prayer and service initiative to bring city-wide transformation. Prayer is the catalyst for action and true prayer always should lead us to act. Adopt A City will focus on praying for the specific needs of our local cities and rally together service teams that will actually go out and complete projects, assignments and volunteer services that will visibly transform our cities. In many of our cities the church is in hiding. They gather faithfully, Sunday after Sunday behind the four walls of a building experiencing encounter after encounter, teaching after teaching. Meanwhile, the rest of the city spoils with increase in crime, new age philosophy and drugs among other things. Beginning with prayer, we will see the Kingdom of God come on earth, as it is in heaven.

You can begin by finding your city listed and read the prayer points provided. Pray faithfully for those things listed.

Join A Fire Team:

Contact us about joining a “Fire Team”. We are currently looking for 8-12 individuals who are willing to sacrifice their Saturday once or twice a month to participate in various service projects, assignments or outreach events. We will be hosting a “vision night” in September to share our heart and what the various needs are. We are also seeking opportunities to serve. Give:

Consider going to our online store and sowing a donation toward our work. Financial donations will directly go toward helping those in need buy necessities like food, clothes, baby products and transportation. As we develop our impact, we will need additional finances to support materials, tools and advertising expenses so we can offer our service free of charge to people.
